Sparky and Fuzzy are big guys, about 250 pounds apiece.
If you're lucky enough to visit at 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. or 3 p.m., you can see them earning their daily meals! Their antics aren't just for entertainment, they help keep the animals active and let the Aquarium staff check their health and well-being.
Sparky was born at an aquarium, and Fuzzy was found wounded as a pup on the coast off of Georgetown, Maine. Neither seal could now live on his own in the wild.
Instead, they've got 20,000 gallons of water to swim in and all the herring they can eat. You pause and enjoy their intriguing water ways for a while before a flash of color catches your eye..
